Anyone else check these kids out?
They are a Jazz duo that consists of a two "child prodigies", DOMi (a keyboardist from France who studied at Berklee) and JD Beck (drummer from Dallas, TX).
I kept seeing articles about them, mostly emphasizing how much talented they had for being such young kids, and finally decided to check out their debut a few days ago.
I'm really impressed not only with the musicianship, but with the entire production. Plenty of people have talent, but this stuff combines that top-tier musicianship with production that is really attractive and current sounding. Think "Lo-Fi Beats" or hiphop instruments but with that top-level musicianship behind it giving it life and substance.
