I definitely plan on looking at the 70D, but the T3i gets beat by the 60D for sure
T3i Vs 60D comparison chart
The Main thing I'm looking at is CROSS TYPE autofocus points. Cross type autofocus points help grab focus in fast motion situations such as sports which I shoot a lot of. the 60D definitely has more cross type sensors than the 6D, thats another reason why I like the 60D. If I had enough money I'd go to a 5d Mk 2 maybe. We'll see what I can find for deals!
Two things here:
1) I might have missed some of your older posts, but what are the lenese you are currently using? If fast and accurate focusing is what you aim for, the camera body might not be the only factor you need to be thinking about.
2) I upgraded to the 5D3 from 5D2, and I thought both focus fairly fast and accurate. Once in a long while I would be shooting candid shots with a model, or dancers in motion; and I would go with the 70-200mm L f/2.8 IS II lens. The lens and body (both 5D2 and 5D3) seem to go well together, and I hardly encountered any "slow" or inaccurate focusing issue that might concerned you.
