It looks like Annette put on a few pounds.

Well I mean hasn't she had a baby recently?

I don't believe so, but maybe I'm mistaken.  Are you sure you aren't thinking of Sharon from Within Temptation?  She actually cranked out two babies in between albums.

FYI, the comment about her weight I made was not a shot at her and I dont think she is fat. I just noticed she looked a bit bigger, and Im over weight so Im certainly not knocking her. As to whether or not she had a baby, I have no clue.

Hot? Really? I dont think she is that good looking, but I think she is very attractive because her voice is amazing, if that makes sense.

Yeah I don't think she's the greatest looking but I love the way she dances. So sexy.

This guy was the one I referenced earlier, his videos are really good and in 1080p.  I won't say which songs are on here for spoilers.

I believe Anette had a baby while they were developing the songs for Imaginaerum.

Funnily enough, half of the songs I wasn't too keen on at first have become favorites of mine after repeated listens.  I now love about 90% of this album, and just 'like' the rest.

EDIT:  Speaking of Imaginaerum, by the way.
Sincerely,
Jaffa

The second half of Song Of Myself is so moving. The narration is executed flawlessly.

I believe Anette had a baby while they were developing the songs for Imaginaerum.

My sister is a nightwish fan too, and she hasn't heard Imaginaerum at all. Against my better judgment, I lent her the album. If it does not return in one piece, I am going to rage like a fucking madman.

that is all.

Yeah I remember seeing updates from Tuomas when they were rehearsing the new songs in Finland and he was saying it was just the guys and Anette would join them later cause she was still out with her newborn.

My sis is a huge Nightwish fan too. She's 9 years old and this is the only metal band she likes and has a bunch of songs from Imaginaerum with a few exceptions. She LOVES The Owl, The Crow and the Dove, Last Ride of the Day, Rest Calm, Turn Loose the Mermaids and I Want My Tears Back the most. They are the only band she listens to. A few months ago she was listening to Lenka, the Plain White Tees and Selena Gomez. I'm proud of her
I love Ghost River  :metal :metal :metal

Little sisters around the world should listen to what Tuomas has to play. It's the only proper way to be a sister. By the way, how do I pronounce @#!*%?

I admit my expectations for this were that it would be ok, but not great.  Glad I was wrong.  I guess all Tuomas had to do was write music to Annette's strengths.  Leaps and bounds better than DPP (not that it would have taken much), and will probably end up being a top 3 Nightwish album in the end.  Looking forward to getting this some more spins.

EDIT:  I decided I needed to listen to this again immediately.  The full track of of Storytime is so much better than the shortened version they made a video for.  This album fucking slays.  :metal

Storyland might be the best Nightwish song ever...Annette's great, the instrumental part they cut from the single version is one of the best in their catalog, and the chorus and backing vocals are perfect...I find myself the back button alot and re-listening to the song.

not familier with that track, must be a b-side?    I think it's my favorite Annette song in which there is no Marco. My favorite Nightwish song with both is probably Ghost River.

:rollin Dude that sucks. I was going to type out a long lit of swears but I think that would derail the topic.

When Nemo grows up she's gonna hear the Nightwish song and be all like, "Really, mom? Really?"

Edit: I take it back, I wouldn't even be that disappointed cause that song owns.

Thanks to DTVT, I am binging on some Nightwish. The new album has been given some plays and I am back tracking to some DPP and a couple of my favorite Tarja-era songs.

So the second half of Song of Myself is just about as emotional as music's ever made me.
