Pikachu beat Onix, even back when he was a n00b at the first gym.
Although being chained to something could pose a problem as well.

Well, sort of. He used the sprinklers, and destroyed Brock's gym. Then Brock came by, said "you didn't win, but here's your badge anyway", and then left his father to care for his 86 siblings while he went and had fun. Wasn't really a straightfoward victory.
Since then, I don't think Onix ever lost.
Onix would just have the size on Chain Chomp.

Seriously. Like what is Pokemon teaching us as a society? That it's OK to cheat to win and abandon our families to go party with our friends?

And what about the fact everytime a Pokemon is caught they're imprisoned in Prof. Oak's pedophile farm in the middle of fucking nowhere? And that they're happy about it?

Yep. Pokemon is just the Japanese trying to rape our children.

And Ash was FUCKING 11 when he left home.
So it's also teaching parents to abandon their children as early as possible and send them out on dangerous quests.
At least Frodo had a fellowship help him. Ash had two dipshit friends that would come and go on a yearly basis.

EDIT: ninja'd at least 4 times there.

It's also okay to train animals to fight each other for your amusement.

I'm amazed PETA wasn't all up in Pokemon's business.

Let's get back on-topic though.

:neverusethis:

Mario/Luigi or Mr. Mime?

The latter is really annoying, he would probably annoy Mario/Luigi so much that they would give up.

Good point. Enslaving wild animals and having them do our bidding?

It's not a blur. It's missingno. The pokemon that could turn into a level 600 oddish with splash once you caught it.

And then turned into a level 5 abra once you leveled it.

Too bad you could only capture him once, after that you're game was broken  :lol.

:therearenowords:

And that's weird. Cause I caught him once, and my game isn't borked :neverusethis:

On bulbapedia (such a thing exists, yes. Incredible resource), they detail that there are several types of missingno. I the one I caught turned into a lvl 1 Kangaskhan with water gun, watergun, hyper beam and dizzy punch. The only error I saw were people walking on the roof of the abandoned mansion in Cinnabar.

Yea, there were always people up there :p. I think it was on the gym though. And you were lucky with your missingno :p.

I forgot he always seemed to have watergun, sometimes multiple times.

You can do lots of fun shit with a gameshark. I remember strange things happening when you get your mad hax up in there and walk outside of the normal map's boundaries. I found a level 100+ Khangaskan that had the appearance of Prof Oak. :o

VS.

I choose Goombella because she not only knew everything about monsters, but also people and areas. Plus she was funny where as the Pokedex was annoying as a mother-fucker.

Dexter also had that irritating voice in the show.
The game, on the other hand, had an awesome pokedex.
In the most recent ones, the pokedex was telling you each pokemon's personality, who they took to the prom, balanced your checkbooks, shined your shoes, and saved you %15 or more on car insurance by switching you to Geico.
