Help me recall what TV show or movie this scene is from

This is a job for DTF.  I had a meeting today at work, and five of us were in a room.  The room doesn't have light switches, the lights are motion activated.  About 20 minutes into the meeting, the lights go out and everyone else raises a hand and starts waving, one person while writing with their other hand.  Now, I could have sworn I have seen this on a TV show, and I even want to say it was Community, but I'm not certain.  Anyone know what I am thinking of?  A link would be even better.
