Would you like to hear the tale about the time BlobVanDam opted out of the DTF tournament?
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Anyway it shouldn't be too bad Nick, just open up 4 more places for the next 32 to qualify for. :)

Yeah, people said that last time, too.

Notice that I didn't win.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

So wait, did I get bumped? Because my name used to be on people's lists earlier in this thread and now it isn't. Also, I definitely used to have more than 2000 posts. What happened?

I lost like 60 posts a month or so back, and regained them in time.
And yeah, you were the final seed in the qualification round, but XianL pointed out that Nick forgot to include him, so he bumped you put him in.
Blame Nick.

I tend to always blame Nick. Or Nic. At any rate, is there anyway I can be bumped back in?

I dunno, ask Nick. I all fairness, you were at the bottom of the qualification round, and would not have been in had XianL been included in the beginning. But maybe you can be put in...

Okay, here is the full story of what happened. Please don't complain about this as it's a good bit of work and hassle to do this.

XianL was originally missed because while I was copying down names he posted and moved one poster up in post count, effectively going ahead of bout to crash and at the time he actually jumped up a page in the members list when arranged by post count. So then when I went to move to the third page, he wasn't there because he had just moved to the 2nd page.

ANYWAY, I missed XianL, who could have been in without even being in the qualifier. But to make room for him I had to delete somebody. Global Laziness, you were the farthest down the list that had not yet been engaged in the first matchup. For that reason I had to bump you to make room for somebody who had a higher post count when the tourney started. If you keep posting I'm sure next year you'll be in. I'm sorry for the mix-up but I'm just trying to keep things orderly.

Just like everything here, a lot of work and all I get is a bunch of dammiting.

But I keep going, day after day, in hopes that one day Rich will love me again the way he used to.

In all fairness, you are my hero for running this (I'm not just saying that because I'm actually in it this year). I imagine it would be a really complicated survivor to run, and so I salute you for it.

However, to remain popular amongst my peers I still have to say: GODDAMMIT NICK!

P.S. - I love you.

No worries, mate. I have to get my post count back up anyway after having it cut down by at least 600. Keep up the good work.
