Had another epic bacon moment today at work.  The special is pork chops with a sweet potato hash, and I made a braised apple and bacon relish to go on top.  Whit hints of brandy and sage, it came out utterly godlike.  I first tasted it half an hour ago and I'm still sporting a semi from its deliciousness.  Hundreds of years from now, people will be singing ballads about this fucking sauce!!! :hefdaddy

One of my fellow chefs at the hotel has a bacon tribal band on one arm and a Webber on the other.  Very dorky, yet cool.

For some reason, my friends look down on me every Thursday when I make my breakfast.  What I do is I fry up 4 pieces of bacon (crispy on the tips, chewy in the centre) and then in a separate bowl whisk together 3 eggs and some milk.  Once the bacon is done, I leave the grease in and pour the egg mix directly into it and make scrambled eggs.  My roommates are utterly repulsed, but bacon and bacon-eggs is consistently my most delicious breakfast.
