Very similar to my recipe, except mine is kicked up with a couple jalapenos, and is pureed and strained to give it a silky texture.  I could eat the shit all day.

Mmmmm, very nice.  I'll have to send you my "Bastard Mulligatawny" recipe (I scoured the net for several recipes and pulled together my favorite parts to formulate my own personal recipe) and see what you think.

I like mine as crispy as it can get without losing a little bit of chewyness inside. But I usually screw up, and I'd rather have less crispyness than no chewyness.

Me and my friends just made the most amazing food ever.
We weaved several strips of bacon together to form a plate of bacon.
Then we covered the whole thing with cheese.
After that we put several slices of salami on top, and to finish the dish we added a fried egg.
The whole thing then went to the oven.

I could feel my arteries crying for help just because of the smell.  :biggrin:

I think in our love for bacon we are overlooking the great by-product of bacon...

BACON DRIPPINGS!!

You can do so much with this stuff.  It makes a great dressing for spinach salad, makes whatever you cook in it better (read: eggs), and probably makes lots of other awesome things that are escaping my mind now, but I'm sure Lone Star wouldn't mind reminding us of what we can do with this culinary liquid gold.
