This is Bond's Explosive.

Now, it sounds quite like the tv-series X-Men show, yes, but also another song.

I mean the melodic theme (I don't have perfect pitch, so I may be wrong):
|D - - C - - G - |Bb - - Ab - - Eb - |G

A '90s song with heavy strings, all around a male singer.

Any help?
