Nah, I hear you, but they end up being great souveniers. Honestly, it didn't detract in any way from the shows. I didn't miss any nuances, if anything, the pics allowed me to preserve them...like this one:
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I hate when my wife wants me to bring the camera to the Pats games and I feel the same about concerts.  I just want to get immersed when I'm at a show.
I'm the same way. When I saw Alice In Chains I recorded the set list as they played it on my phone in a note, and the ten seconds it took me during each song made me slightly regret it. Nothing major, but it just interrupted me enough to where I felt like I missed some of the show (which I obviously did, it just felt like more).

Standard Maiden setlist just with new tracks.  Good to see the Talisman getting a look in.  I thought they would have played Starblind though.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Starblind and TMWBK would be sweet.  Good setlist.  I wish they'd just get rid of the stock standard 'classic' tracks.

I would probably think the same way, but I've never seen them so I want to see some classics! They could easily mix it up though. Like throw in Aces High, Brave New World, Powerslave, Rime, Phantom of the Opera, Flight of Icarus, Revelations... Maiden have enough classics for several different setlists :p

I've only seen them once, on the 2nd leg SBIT tour.  I was pretty dang lucky!  Phantom, Rime, Children of the Damned... very cool!

Yeah it was awesome.  Only bummer is that those songs knocked Revelations, Moonchild and The Clairvoyant off the setlist.  Which are also three of the greatest Maiden songs ever.  Beggars can't be choosers though; it was the first time Maiden had been here in 16 years or something crazy like that.

It's a fine setlist, although it could have been better. No surprises, they're playing it rather safe. The encore is the same as last year, which is kinda dull. Their choices from The Final Frontier are good, but I could use one more song, like The Alchemist, or maybe The Man who would be king.

Pretty good setlist.  Only weak spots are Blood Brothers, Final Frontier, and Where the Wild Wind Blows.  Good to see a mix between classic and new stuff  with the rest of the setlist.  If they replaced Final Frontier with Aces High, Where the Wild Wind Blows with Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg (or Brighter Than A Thousand Suns), and Blood Brothers with...something else (maybe Stranger in a Strange Land?  OOooooooooh) it would be very close to perfect, except Powerslave wouldn't be on it.

If by drags you mean it gets even better than I agree.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

That's awesome, even though El Dorado is one of my least favourites off the album. Maiden should have won a lot more then they have :D

I can't stomach El Dorado to be honest, and this is coming from a guy that The X Factor is his fav album and Fear of the Dark is in his top 5.  I just can't stand it, rubbish song.

I think it's easily the worst song on TFF. But I don't think it's the nearly the worst "worst song on the album" that they have.

It just goes to speak to how f##king awesome this album is.

El Dorado is a great song and there are quite a few songs I'd put below it.  At least they didn't win a grammy for a really bad song just because it was about time for them to win one or something.

I don't hate El Dorado, but its definitely bottom 3 from TFF for me. I quite like the intro, and the chorus isn't too bad IMO, but the verses seem a bit uninspired. Still, goes to show how good the recent album is.
