Hallowed Be Thy Name is the best, followed by Rime of the Ancient Mariner
This would probably be the most standard opinion, yes :)

2 Minutes To Midnight is my favorite, Fear Of The Dark would be second. I'm still early in my fandom though.

I'm probably the only one with this, but The Legacy is my favourite Maiden song. The Thin Line Between Love And Hate is also up there.
... And you ask me: "Where's my hairspray?"

They're both excellent songs, probably around the 30-50 mark for me though. The way Bruce sings "Theres a thin line between love and hate" is just amazing.

That's a great song. It's my #3 after Hallowed Be Thy Name and Fear Of The Dark.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

My top five (in no order):

"Hallowed Be Thy Name"
"The Wicker Man"
"El Dorado"
"Rime Of The Acient Mariner"
"Wasted Years"
"Flight Of Icarus"

It's impossible to pick five so I picked six.

I'd follow a Maiden Top-x list with great interest. I'm only familiar with Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave, and I'd use the list to get turned on to more Maiden outside of those 3 albums.

Did Guinea Pig or TAC do one?  I may be mistaken.  I definitely remember GP doing a Bruce Dickinson one, which was awesome even though he didn't even rate Laughing in the Hiding Bush :lol

I didn't do one but G Pig & Nick did one last year. Someone could always resurrect that thread if they can find it.

Man TAC.  You must have a large hard drive for all those pics!!

Have you ever felt that you missed the little nuanses of a show because you were taking pictures?

I actually only have about 100 pics on my Photobucket. These Maiden pics have been posted before.

I didn't miss anything taking pictures. The next day, I'd go to get them done at the 1 Hour photo place. You just hope that you were able to get at least a couple of good shots, and I was always able to. Most shows, I went with a fresh 36 Roll. Sometimes, rarely, I'd bring extra film and change.

When I was recording shows, I truly remember spending the whole show stressing over the recording, but I had very good luck with the pics. I have a large bin full of them. Some day, I'll get them scanned in and saved on my hard drive.

I hate when my wife wants me to bring the camera to the Pats games and I feel the same about concerts.  I just want to get immersed when I'm at a show.
