I'm sorry, but what is 6:00 GMT mean to the US East Coast? And isn't London changing time zones on Sunday??

Judging from the picture I'm pretty sure it'll be a world tour.  Which means very few if any US dates.

Which means most likely a New York/New Jersey date.

They haven't ever.  But I wouldn't think it's totally out of the picture, given:

a. They're playing two gigs in Indonesia
b. They've wanted to play China before
c. They have an affinity for former British colonies

The Final Frontier has been on the display at the record shop here forever, so I'm hoping that means they're somewhat popular. THough I wouldn't be surprised if they're not. People really don't like real music here.

Listened to Final Frontier yesterday for the first time. First half I was meh, second half is really really awesome, but I don't think it surpasses A Matter Of Life and Death in flow. But really... awesome album, glad I bought it.

After it's been out for 2 months, I'd probably rate is above the Blaze and Paul stuff, but below everything else. Still, the fact that Maiden can still crank out a top-10 song (WTWWB) is more than enough reason for me to be satisfied by this outing.

I don't know... It surpasses Blaze stuff by a little bit, but I don't know about Paul stuff. And I enjoyed The Talisman, TMWWBK, Isle of Avalon and Starblind slightly more than When the Wild Wind Blows... I would put The Talisman in my TOP 20 if anything.

How many times do I have to remind people that The X Factor is one of the best things Maiden has done?

As many times as it takes for you to realize your wrong. :neverusethis:
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"
Me: "How?"
Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

Man at least use the right way of saying "you're" when you belittle him!

TFF is around the middle of the pack for me.  Better than SSOASS, X Factor, and the Di'Anno albums (haven't heard Virtual XI and have no real reason to).  Definitely the weakest reunion album, but "The Talisman" is still amazing.

I must be the only person here that thinks Fear of the Dark is really overrated (but still having a few gems) while The X Factor is damn near perfect.  :loser:

Honestly, I've always had a hard time getting into both Blaze albums. I like them, but I've never listened to them enough to decide anything about them aside from "I like it."

Well, The X Factor is really depressing and I like depressing music. I know its a departure for Maiden and all, but I think Blaze's voice fits what they were going for on The X Factor.

Virtual XI is mostly meh except for The Clansman. Hearing Blaze bellow out "FREEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOOM!" is  :2metal:

The X Factor would've been a top 3 Maiden album if:

a. Blaze gave a performance close to what he is capable of
b. Steve didn't try and mix it himself and left it in the hands of someone capable

I felt Blaze did a damn good job on the album.
Steve's mixing doesn't really bother me but I suppose I can see why it would turn someone else off.

Seventh Son, have you listened to Blaze's solo albums?  He is phenomenal on them.  Neither The X Factor or Virtual XI come even close to his abilities as a singer.

I love the first Blaze album. Unfortunately I don't own any, I just borrowed the first one from a friend long before we had "ripping" and stuff like that.

His other albums are well worth it as well.  He's put out some great stuff.

GuineaPig's list is probably the closest, but it's still just plain wrong.

I gave both Blaze albums a fair listen several months ago and although both albums had things I liked, they were mostly crap. Depressing is right. Even Fear of the Dark is better than those two. Holy Smoke is better than those two. The only worthwhile things produced from those albums are Sign of the Cross and The Clansman and that's only because of Rock In Rio. Seventh Son, you be smokin' crack.
