lol no, BNW is the best them
BNW is amazing but it doesn't have Nicko's epic drumming sections of The Longest Day, the epic buildup in For the Greater Good of God, or DAT RIFF of The Reincarnation of Benjamen Breeg.

And AMOLAD doesn't have "Blood Brothers", "Brave New World", "Ghost of the Navigator" or "Dream of Mirrors"

Blood Brothers is probably the weakest link on BNW, apart from The Mercenary. The Thin Line Between Love And Hate is one of the best Iron Maiden songs imo, though.

Blood Brothers is my favourite track on BNW. It's so awesome on Rock In Rio, for example.

Just for a second a glimpse of my father I see
And in a movement he beckons to me
And in a moment the memories are all that remain
And all the wounds are reopening again

So, a top 15 IM song overall is the worst song on BNW? :|

Janick's guitar solo is what really makes the song awesome, but probably one of Maiden's more emotional songs. He gets a lot of shit, yes, but I really enjoy his guitar soloing, he doesn't deserve the crap he gets, and he wrote The Legacy for crying out loud (Anyone that knows me knows I love the crap out of that song)

Unless someone come up with a factual, objective ranking of Iron Maiden songs, you are confusing your opinion with fact.

Blood Brothers suffers from the same problem as "No More Lies."  For me, the worst tracks on BNW are "The Nomad," "Blood Brothers," and "Dream of Mirrors."  *prepares flame shield*

I was referring to my own opinion, I simply assumed that was assumed and that I did not need to slap "imo" at the end of that. :|
And all those songs you listed are among my favorites......  :|

I used to love BNW, but i'm not sure how i would compare it to their other albums now.
Ghost of the Navigator is probably my favorite song on it.

Ghost is awesome, and almost feels like a sequel to Ancient Mariner in some ways. But honestly, I think the first half of Brave New World is miles away better than the second half.

*checks the songs on the album again*

Out of the songs on the album, the only songs i really love (a lot) would be Ghost of the Navigator and the title-track.
The Wicker Man is still very awesome, but i have overplayed it a bit during the years, and therefor it has dropped a bit.
Some songs sounded really great when i first heard them, but i now find them very repetitive (at least chorus-wise and so on), the songs that would go under that category: The Mercenary, Blood Brothers and Dream of Mirrors.

Overall, i prefer A Matter of Life and Death & Dance of Death over Brave New World when it comes to their modern albums.
AMOLAD is fantastic all way through, meanwhile DOD has killer tracks like the title-track, Paschendale, Journeyman, Rainmaker and The Gates of Tomorrow. (to name a few)

They've done Metallica, Manowar and Nightwish covers, as well as their own material of course. 3 albums i 6 years, as entertaining now as it was in 2006. You evidently can't go wrong with a cappella metal.

Damn old people.  You gotta learn to MOVE a bit during a metal show.  Especially when Bruce is challenging you to move as much as he does at his age.

Besides, this is Maiden, its not like they're so engrossed in the deep lyrics for them to stand transfixed like a statue the way one would be at a Yes concert.

The Final Frontier's a pretty good song.  Lyrics are OK, riffs good, solos excellent.  Definitely can tell that it's an edit though.  Now I really want to hear Satellite 15.

This video is pretty damn cheesy.  But it is Maiden.  Pretty good song though, not sure if I like it more or less than El Dorado.

Liked the video, even though i kinda hoped for Maiden to be in it.. The concept is ok, the animation of eddie is pretty lame at times, but its still a pretty good video. Can't wait for the full version of the song! I have a feeling this will be a very good album. Both songs so far are pretty good, and the Maiden-singles from the past few albums haven't been my favorites at all, so i defenitely have hopes!

Shows the last two nights were awesome. Both performances were excellent, but it's quite sad when an opening act manages to have far superior sound to the headlining act. It's been a long problem with them, and Maiden really has to try and clear up their live sound a bit, even if it means lowering the volume a bit.

Liked the riffs and solos, but nothing about the vocal lines or lyrics stood out as anything special. Enjoyed first listens to this an 'El Dorado' so still can't wait for album.

Video wasn't nearly as cheesy as I thought it would have (or could have) been. When this TFF Eddie first made its appearance (as just a head) I thought it was a cool concept, but the more I see of it (album cover, live show, now this video) I don't really care for it at all. Oh well, who gives a shit if the album rocks.
