I just came across the band's latest video update on Facebook.  And, I could NOT be any happier with the news of Mike being back in charge of the setlists.  This was one of the biggest questions I had about his return.  Would he take over that responsibility again or would we continue with the mainly static setlists?  I'm dying to see what he comes up with to celebrate their 40th anniversary.  Which Mangini songs will he include?  The US leg of this tour cannot come soon enough!!!   :metal :metal :metal

I'm glad this info is out there now.  I was aware of this through private channels, and it was sort of awkward having to tiptoe around this issue in connection with setlist discussions and some questions that have been asked that I could not really answer without implying that I knew this.

I believe that Mike will choose the best of the best on each album and I hope they come to the US so I can see them for the first time. They are my favorite band of all time.

Hopefully this means some decent variability between cities. Being in CT, I'm pretty spoiled. There's usually 3 shows within 2 hours, and maybe a half dozen if I felt like heading a bit further and staying the night.

Same here. I'm in for AT LEAST 2 shows but if MP is switching up sets, I could be in for an abundance of shows! I'm SO STOKED MP is back!
