I started following the band when Necroshine came out. That title track kicked my ass that year. In the mid 00's, I stopped following them, but Ironbound brought me back to them. I usually gravitate to my favorites or the newer albums, but figured I should dig deep and listen to stuff that I rarely put on.

Some 2024 today...

The album from My Silent Wake is pretty good. Doomy gothic metal...at times it sounds like a livelier My Dying Bride, and the keyboards/organ make for some interesting texture. The cleans, on the other hand, have a very Borknagar vibe (e.g. Lavender Garden)

You should check out the prog/goth playlist I made last fall, I didn't realize until the last year or so that you seem more amenable to that sort of thing than I'd have expected you to be. Evermind should stay clear of it in case I use something else from it in his roulette.
