Hangman rule;

I probably should have made the rule that if you guess the sender and it's wrong, you can no longer guess a sender for that band.  So one guess per person per sender.

It's not that serious bro aye.  If it makes you feel better, you can send me a wildcard for the last round because I guess technically you should have won that one.

So, last week I had results on the Friday my time but that won't happen this week being Thursday already.  I'll move them to probably Monday but will do impressions tomorrow to try and keep things moving.  Last round will then wrap up the following Monday or Tuesday.

Interesting round, I want more time with these songs.

Round 7 Impressions

Let's get some impressions out.  Undecided if I leave these and follow up tomorrow with some more as I know some of these will change.

The whole vibe is different but really quite enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the chorus, not sure the rest is for me, but fits the positive vibe.

You may have struck a nerve with the them in the most roundabout way.

Fucking finally!

Another out of my wheelhouse but it did have a nice feel.

Just a great classic song.  Never been into this band but this is great.

Pretty impressive melodeath here.

I hate this band, but this was surprisingly really good.

Yeah, this is fun and catchier than I thought it would be off the bat.

Gotta admit, I really like the 80's pop vibe here.  Really comforting vocals too.

A bit of a stretch for the theme but for a genre that's usually hit or miss, this was pretty solid.

Holy shit, I thought this was quite outstanding!  Is the hype actually real?  Influences are blatant, but fuck it.

That solo section is worth waiting for, not sure on the rest.

Evermind - I can tell you were struggling with the theme but pretty good prog metal and strong vocals.  is it enough though?

Puppies - This one I'm struggling with, need more listens, this may be a bit too wimpy even with my guard down.

Nice playing but this side of the instrument has never done for me.

I'm just not sure what the point of this is unfortunately.

Despite the love I'm not sure I've ever heard much from this band.  Not what I expected.  Catchy chorus though.
