If you are indeed interested in checking them out then based on your write-up you'd probably be more interested in their debut, Blessed He With Boils - it's still cinematic but leans more into the melodic black metal stuff and I think would be more up your alley.

Anyway, now to win round 3 by sending the best song of the roulette.

My gut reaction was to not send it because of the growls.  My overthinking confirmation was not sending two 13:00+ minute songs in a row in the first two rounds.  So that track was a no-go either way.    Looks like I ariiched it though and should have sent it anyway.

As I said, it was very intriguing but I do wish there was more of that black metal flavour through it.  I think that would have tipped the score higher.  Defintiely unique and has my attention for later though.

I understand your thinking though.  Puppies used the wildcard he won in round 1 and before I went to listen to either track, I saw the track lengths (the other was around 6 minutes), and thought the Manticora was not going to win the battle due to the song length.  I looked at the 15 minute length and went, 'ugh, a fucking long ass track.'  That thinking was squashed within the first few minutes and never gave any thoughts in regards to the length again.
