Pretty stripped back and raw black metal and nothing fancy, but gets the job done.
Damn, some of these vocals even make me feel uncomfortable!
If I was bordering on depression before, I certainly have it now.

One of these?

"Fanastic.  Some awkawrd melodies but love the atmosphere, plus the solo....of course."

Although it appears obviously destined to King, could it be mine?

First Kipressions

Not sure these vocals or the melodies are going to get this across the mark unfortunately

Wasn't too wowed by this on first listen, but the guitar playing may change that.

Yeah, not sure about this one.

Gotta be one of these right?

Also, anyone else read this as First Kifpressions...

That would've been great to have First Kifgifpressions!

Some really nice elements here, but I'm not sure on it just yet.  That solo though....

Quite generic for the style but still solid.

Wasn't too wowed by this on first listen, but the guitar playing may change that.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

First Kipressions

Some of these have already changed a little after a couple of listens but here we go;

Pretty stripped back and raw black metal and nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

Litho - Some really nice elements here, but I'm not sure on it just yet.  That solo though....

Quite generic for the style but still solid.

Wow, this is excellent.

Fanastic.  Some awkawrd melodies but love the atmosphere, plus the solo....of course.

Damn, some of these vocals even make me feel uncomfortable!

ariich - Pretty safe submission when it comes to my taste here but strong and as expected.

In my OP I said I was looking for unique, interesting music with something different.  Well, you delivered.

Jingle - If I was bordering on depression before, I certainly have it now.

Jeez, this kind of just dragged the whole way through.

Wasn't sure at first but this has a very cool dark gloomy atmosphere and potential to grow.

twosuitluke - Not sure these vocals or the melodies are going to get this across the mark unfortunately

Pretty standard but was a nice enough listen.

TAC - Wasn't too wowed by this on first listen, but the guitar playing may change that.

I can hear a lot of different influences here, and when the second half hit...'damn'!!

Fucking hell, talk about testing my limitations straight out of the gates!!

Yeah, not sure about this one.

I know you're high on these guys and I've tried them before, they didn't stick then and not sure if they will now.  Some nice moments though.

Looking at these, after a couple of listens, a few have changed quite a bit.

Yea, I took a gamble on a song that met the theme, whilst also ending in the 17 second bracket, but looks like I've fucked myself :lol

OK I feel like at least half of these could potentially be mine. :lol I'll start by guessing it's among these four:

Fanastic.  Some awkawrd melodies but love the atmosphere, plus the solo....of course.

I like to try and narrow it down to three if I can, so maybe one of these:

Quite generic for the style but still solid.

Wow, this is excellent.

Pretty safe submission when it comes to my taste here but strong and as expected.

Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.

Then if it's not one of these I'll really have to rethink things.

Also, Litho your song felt like a rip off of Surfacing by Slipknot, in places, I wasn't expecting that.

I think it does more in one song than they do on that whole album, but yeah, it has that stomp beat I mentioned in my thread with a similar-ish riff in a spot or two.

I’m a trooper.

As for the Kippression, I fear Tom’s voice could not save my submission. I’ll bet RJs tax return it’s one of these.

If I was bordering on depression before, I certainly have it now.

Jeez, this kind of just dragged the whole way through.

This is how it starts right. The music is good enough to tolerate vocals you can't stand, then you push on a bit, suddenly you realise you can tolerate certain growls, the music propels you on, then one day you're listening to grindcore wondering how you ever called your pitiful existence, before extreme metal, "life".

Fat chance.

Ever since 2010 and hearing Rage of Despair, I’ve always said that tasteful growls in moderation are fine. That’s what Crow’s song delivered. The rest of ya Orcans, nope. I only lasted as long as I did for most of the, impatiently waiting to see if there were any cleans coming.

Also, what Indi said.
