Expected a bit more to be honest.  Ah well.

7's pretty good. 7 is basically the threshold where I consider music good enough that I should own it.

I do think I may have got my scaling set wrong in the first round, though, since it seems nearly impossible to give something a 10, even stuff I'm really into. Maybe we'll have one before the end.

Oh hell yeah! Fucking love King Prawn (obviously) and yea, they kinda defy genre. They were part of the early 00s skacore/ska pink scene in the UK, but they mix in hop hop, metal, dub to mention a few.

I really want you to hear Crackhead now, as it's kinda the best exhibition of their many styles.

Litho may actually have an MP3 of it that he can send you, as I sent it to him in his last roulette as well.

I guess I should listen to more ska. Honestly I even tried Amazon because at that point I was annoyed that I couldn't listen to the song anywhere and I figured I could just do a 99 cent mp3 download, and they didn't even have that! I don't know what's in this music that's so essential to keep from American ears.

Oh my...how bout that?? Fun fact about Hanabie, the high pitched chipmunk is basically Yukina's normal speaking voice (who's like 4'9 on a tall day), and she's the one that does all the growling. The other mid vocal is done by the guitarist. They're insanely fun live. Your assessment should play very nicely into my Rd 7 submission...

That would be really fun to see live I think, her growls are fucking brutal. It kind of reminds me of Kyo from Dir en Grey, who's a small dude but his voice is massive.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

It sounds more epic my way....  :lol

Funny thing is, at the Whisky they have a ton of signs saying "No Stage Diving" and she had been jumping off every stage on the tour, so we were all wondering whether she would here. It was a rowdy show beginning to end, can't wait for June.

Hmm, kind of at a crossroads.  If my next one does well and has me in range, I have a new idea for the final round.  If not, I may try something riskier.

At least Chelsea Wolfe did well.  Kind of annoying to lose to two artists I like in the same round in two separate roulettes at the same time, but to be fair, at least Sacul I think appreciated her work even before I did.

I really want you to hear Crackhead now, as it's kinda the best exhibition of their many styles.

Actually, King Prawn was one I was able to find myself.  It wasn't available through the normal channels, but I have other ways.  But with The King Blues "Everything Happens For a Reason", even those ways failed me (at least in a time frame of trying to manage dozens of other songs for various EPs), so Luke had to e-mail the MP3.  But just PM me an e-mail address if you want "Crackhead" and Luke doesn't have it.  Just don't ask about the first half of the word, I definitely don't have that.

Wait, was I supposed to get 4 or 5 points? Also, I demand a recount! Also also, I'm going to change my submission for next round.

And I'm glad I went back and looked at your last roulette, I was about to send the 3 exact same songs I sent to you in round 6 last time, which did not go over very well. :lol

4, sorry for the false hope, I just fucked up the formatting. :lol  But you're still basically at the top so I don't need to feel too remorseful. Also no problem, just let me know whenever it's updated.

And I'm glad I went back and looked at your last roulette, I was about to send the 3 exact same songs I sent to you in round 6 last time, which did not go over very well. :lol

Damn, I should really add Type O to the banned list. I love like two of their songs, and on everything else their shitty guitar sound just kills it for me. Maybe I should make a secondary banned list for 'bands I've heard enough to think I don't like, but not enough to ban every song,' in case people want to try changing my mind on stuff. Which could happen. Maybe one day I'll like Iron Maiden.

Just don't ask about the first half of the word, I definitely don't have that.

lol thanks for the offer and I respect you for setting healthy boundaries. It turns out I can buy the CD for a very reasonable price, though, so I'll probably just do that, since I know that I like it and I'm a crazy person who still buys CDs.

Will my score potentially go up if you like Crackhead then? It's not like it will make any difference to me winning this thing.

Guess I'll send you some more skacore in this roulette.

Never been in contention in a roulette this close to the finish line, let alone leading!  ....and with such an obvious route to potential victory (power metal!) it'll be silly to send anything else.

Sent (non power metal).
