All correct.

There's something a little strange about this set of submissions, I'm kind of surprised no one's noticed it yet.

As far as I know I've never heard of him.  I might have to check them out, as well as Stadler's (since Cheap Trick got a shoutout in my top 50 roots/influences), and hef's, since he mentioned me possibly knowing them (I don't).

Ah, maybe Dan Harmon was even trying to reference that, I haven't seen that film.  Hmm, Wikipedia says based on the demo of it that it was originally for Jerry Mcguire, but just put it on the soundtrack rather than in the film since the full version of the song overwhelmed the scene it was supposed to be in.

What's the story with Now, Now then?  I'm a bit tied up with other stuff (including my top 50) to really delve into the artists I'm less or unfamiliar with.

They're an indie rock band that had album in 2012 that's one of my all-time favorites. Never really managed to get anyone else into the band, apart from my brother, though.

I thought it'd be funny to stick a decoy in the hangman and they seemed like a classic Shadow Ninja submission. Although it's possible I've never actually sent them to anyone. :lol

Time Stand Still is amazing, and the guest vocals are great too. I even like the silly, extremely 90s music video.

Not yet, but I will. I normally throw them together as I'm writing up results, because I'm a procrastinator and that's as far as I can push it before people start taking songs out of their playlists. :lol

OK, here's some first impressions. I noticed I had jotted down a number of one word impressions among the others as I was going through the songs the first time, so I decided to really commit to it. I'm kind of stretching in some places. :lol

[1] Eerie [Sacul - Chelsea Wolfe]
[2] Interminable [jingle.boy - Arlo Guthrie]
[3] Fun [Stadler - Cheap Trick]
[4] Dumb [Dr. DTVT - ANGUS McSIX]
[5] Emo [LithoJazzoSphere - First Signs of Frost]
[6] :2metal: [wolfking - Children of Bodom]
[7] Weird [twosuitsluke - King Prawn]
[8] Rich Buddyhunter1 - OK Goodnight
[9] Schizophrenic [lonestar - Hanabie]
[10] Epic [soupytwist - Fellowship]
[11] Funky [hefdaddy42 - Fantastic Negrito]
[12] Pleasant [King Postwhore - Michael Penn]
[13] Folky [TAC - Bloody Tyrant]
[14] Hardcore [Crow - Dreamwell]
[15] :metal [ariich - While She Sleeps]
[16] Emblematic [King Puppies and the Acid Guppies]

Results will be tomorrow, as they always are, with zero exceptions that anyone is aware of.
