2.  TAC - Paul Wardingham  / Rise of the Horde ... We got a Jason Richardson vibe going on with that guitar tone.
3.  LithoJazzoSphere - Karnataka  / The Storm ... Risky start, but it might end up paying off.
4.  Puppies - Cosmograf  / Rattrapante ... Risky start, and to quote Han "I've got a bad feeling about this"
5.  Kingshmegland - Earthside / The Lesser Evil ... This is a sonic buffet.  So much to listen to / for.
6.  Indiscipline - Embrace of Souls  / The Number of Destiny ... Oh my fucking Christ those background lyrics are so cringey.
7.  These guys just scream RoSFest - absolutely the poster child for the music you'd expect there

I admit, it took me a bit (as you know) to pick which song.  This for me has clearly came out as the finest song on the album.  Funny you mention melodies as the chorus melody has become something I can't stop playing.
