After my second listen, only a couple of songs stood out. Pretty much everything was .... solid.
Maybe multiple listens will start swinging the pendulum on some of them.
1. That took a set of stones the size of Montana.
2. Some tasty guitar licks splashed in during the verses keeps this interesting.
3. Beautiful choruses… Channelling some Queen there with the vocal harmonies.
4. Another ripping opening, only to be somewhat disappointed in the vocals.
5.
Kingshmegland -
Molybaron / Reality Show ... Straight up old school rock - wait, this wasn't made in the 80s/90s?
6. Really nice vocal harmonies. Hard to tell if this is hard rock, or light metal.
7. Face melting intro. Maybe the rest will grow on me.
8. If only the drums weren't so anorexic.
9.
Stadler -
The Naomi Star / Glad That You Came ... Hard not to know whose submission this was right from the first 30 seconds.
10. Truly middle of the road. Neither hard, nor soft. There's some grit in it though.
