Such an awesome episode tonight.

That was a good episode, and I loved that line.  I love all the "Canadian" jokes about Robin, like the time she got drunk on Molson and went "super Canadian".

Or one where they try to guess what Canadian-themed sexual act Robin had performed. Loved the Canadian references there.
Plus they mentioned rush :hat

I like how Barney and Robin manage to still be completely weird.

Barney taking a class on her? Robin not liking traditional boyfriend stuff like breakfast in bed? Awesome.

Pretty much done with this show.
This years episodes are SO weak...and very predictable.
It's gone from being "edgy" comedy to...a Friends replica.
I loathed friends, and now that I'm noticing similar patterns here I think it's time to move on.

Officially dropped from TV sched.
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.

I don't understand why people stop watching shows before they've sucked a long time. I made it through two crappy seasons of Scrubs before giving up.

Does not compute.

Haven't seen the newest episode yet. I just bought the book of The Bro Code (well, bought is a big word. I already had 2 books and it was buy 2, get 1 free) for a friend's birthday.

there is no way that sucked, i love their random rules and observations. it's friends at a far better level where their chemistry is funny and believable.

This is the biggest thing. I feel like the comedy's gotten a bit broader, which is disappointing. But, the characters are still far beyond most television. Every time someone talks about how so-and-so character is acting out of character, I have to shake my head a bit. Real people act OOC sometimes. After four seasons, characters aren't going to be as rigidly defined as they are in a movie.

Last night's episode was a little weak, I must admit. The funniest part was Barney when he saw Ted had brought that babe back to the room. :lol

The Ted/Marshall stuff in the latest episode was great. Glad to finally see them get some bro time.

The Robin/Barney story feels like it will be a lot better with time.

The scene in Tim Horton's automatically makes the episode awesome.

It was great when they ended up at Tim Hortons. It just wouldn't be a trip to Canada without it.

Also, Barney's comments on the money.
"Why is it blue?"; "Oh come on, there are kids playing hockey on the back. Now she's just mocking you".

Even years after their introduction, I can't believe they actually put kids playing hockey on the five.

I hate when they have people with so-called Canadian accents on TV. I do not talk like that, goddammit! And "Didn't watch the hockey game, can't be canadian"? Fuck you. I've watched maybe 2 or 3 hockey games in my life.

But the please/thank you thing was accurate. :p

Space Invader casts Revive!

For those who are following Season 5, I must say so far it's, in my opinion, one of the best.

"The Playbook" has to be one of my favorite episodes.
Everything can, should and will be progressive.

I'm going to need a SWAT team ready to mobilize, street over maps covering all of Florida, a pot of coffee, twelve Jammie Dodgers and a Fez - Eleventh Doctor
