Current Events could be the round where Kade or Nick put this away for good.  I've sampled dozens of different things and nothing is standing out yet.  And the stuff I already know from this year is mostly not TAC-core.

I thought the vocals might be the sticking point, but glad it worked.

Well, they were kind of. But the song really overcame them. between the opening, the cleaner choruses, and that mid section. I'm quite sure with those vocals, a different KoK song would've scored much lower.

I was back and forth on actually sending them at all because I knew just this, but felt the song had just enough to tip it over the edge for you.  There aren't many of their songs I was considering, it was this or nothing.

Yup, I gave TAC World's Apart in an all-female playlist (that was the theme of the round)... it scored an 8.  That was the roulette I gave him a 2-hour final round double concept album.

Regarding Triosphere...
I've been sent them a number of times..

My Fortress placed at 7 in a 12-1 Ranker in my 3rd roulette
My Fortress was sent by the same person (K-Lox) in my EP roulette and got an 8.5.
Worlds Apart was sent in my EP roulette (J-Boy) and got an 8.0.
The Sentinal was sent (by Evermind) in my EP roulette and got an 8.0
The Hearts Dominion was sent on the same EP and got an 8.5



In standard scoring, Human Condition would've gotten an 8.0 most likely.
I liked it, but sometimes the stacker pushes good songs down, and as in the Recess Round, it can push weaker songs up.

You like Magali Luyten and a couple others from what I recall though.  It seems to me your issue is that you don't like ones that would work as pop artists or maybe fronting symphonic metal bands.  There are plenty of others that are much more aggressive and gritty though.
