Just stumbled on this thread for the first time, and honestly, I'm floored. Had no idea AI was this far along! It's wild to think about how much it's changing things, even music. I always thought AI was about fancy tech stuff, but here it is, mixing up our tunes.

This is how most AI work is that I have encountered, whether it's audio or visual. There's an instant feeling of "this is interesting" followed by a weird after taste like "this feels wrong".

Yep, the first half of the first verse of this one is pretty dang good, the lack of or change in tone or timbre as the song ramps up really starts to make it feel robotic, then the chorus just falls flat.

It's definitely getting close though! A lot of this stuff would be better if just more work went into dialing it in just right.
