Bridgeport Connecticut

Has anyone been to this venue? They generally play the Oakdale...Are they trying to draw from NYC at the same time? Bridgeport is ghetto so I'm not thrilled about it.

I saw Tenacious D at that venue last year. Wasn't bad at all (imo). Floor seating is a little cramped, but sound was great, and there's plenty of parking.

I've seen a few shows at this venue and love it. There are definitely some seats that will have the stage blocked by some columns, so make sure you don't pick one of them. Sections 205 and 305 are definitely in the clear.   

Beers are expensive as shit though, possibly the most expensive of any venue or stadium I've been to. So if you want to get a buzz on once in the venue, bring a c-note (I'm not kidding).

This venue doesn't feel "ghetto" at all.

Thanks, yeah Bridgeport is ghetto but there are a lot of nice places. I just hate going there and wondering if when I come out my wheels will be missing

What's everyone thinking for tomorrow? I'm going to take the afternoon off and wouldn't mind heading down a bit early.

I typically blow out of concerts at this venue early because getting out can be a PITA, but I want to stick around for the encore. As such, I might try to get down extra early to try and get a good exit position in the lot (not the garage) by the venue.

The weather is looking pretty decent. Parking lot shenanigans should be doable.

I was planning on going but just blew another $6k I wasn't expecting to today on my well... oh well, lmk how it is!
