It happens to all of us... It appears out if nowhere, or we hear it in a commercial or on the grocery store muzac, and BAM!!! It's with us for the next few hours...

So let it out here, share the joy/pain.... What song is stuck in your head?

Currently drowning out everything else in my head... Feels like the First Time by Foreigner. I have no idea where it came from, and it's been a few years since I actually listened to it, but it's there and it's not going away anytime soon.

This phenomena happens to me as well, and it is almost always something I haven't heard in a while, sometimes in a VERY LONG while.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are undisputed kings of the ear worm (or snake in this case). They love to really repeat lyrics in their songs, and here is a great example! I don't know how many times they say 'rattlesnake' in this song, but it's a lot.

It gets stuck in my head all the time, along with other songs. I can link more, if you want to get them stuck in your head too (of course you really should). Highlights would be Hot Water, Trapdoor and the "Drip drip from the tap don’t slip" section in The Dripping Tap...

The other day I had “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer” stuck in my head, and that was because earlier in the day the Merl Haggard song “Okie From Muskogee” got stuck in my head. I don’t know how that got in my head in the first place though.

Most of the time it's a Taylor Swift song. She writes vocal melody ear worms (at least to me) that tend to pop into my head from nowhere and stay around awhile.
