I'm gonna struggle with the weird round. My first choice I'm astonished isn't banned, but I'm half-expecting it to be an oversight and it'll wind up being rejected anyway. The other problem is that Crow might not actually consider it weird at all.

my inbox is full so i'm deleting all the round 2 submissions that were sent ahead of round 2 because i only have 25 PM slots even though i've been on this site for 15 years
resend them again later because i literally do not have room for them rn

Yeah, the 25 pm slot limit is literally the most annoying thing about this forum. Especially for those of us that run roulettes regularly. It's a very strange form of gatekeeping...

There's a sticky to get added into various usergroups, including one that everyone is eligible for (the one I'm in) that increases the inbox size to 50. But it's a manual process to add people to the groups, and looking in that thread, it seems it's been almost ten years since anyone has done that.

Question for Crow, you say "no djent", and also that you're really into post-hardcore. I have stuff that straddles the line on them. And from some perspectives the line is kind of blurry anyway, I know Metal-Archives rejects lots of djent bands because they consider them more post-hardcore-related than metal. And heck, the first song in your Spotify playlist is kind of djenty. Any insight on what it is about djent that you don't like? I'm wondering whether to give something a try or just avoid the area altogether.

that's like the one silent planet song i really like and they're decisively metalcore, hah
in general post-hardcore with a djent lean falls into a really samey sound that never does much more me, like the more classic or classic-styled post-hardcore stuff in general
