LB in Rd 3. Sorry Mac.
Safety, actually. He was a LB in college, but he's the textbook S/LB hybrid Bill loves. But yeah, Sorry Mac.
Personally, I'd like to have see an OL added. And if he's going to draft a safety, I'd prefer a DMac replacement over another Dugger, which is what this pick is. But, Bill's going to go with the best all around player from his, eh, unique point of view. I think he's comfortable with their receiver situation, and he'll snag a few OL in the value part of the draft. He's got a pretty good track record with scrounging up offensive linemen, so we'll see how that goes. So far this hasn't been an immediate impact sort of draft, but I think it's a good foundational draft.
And an important point here is that this is McCorkle's season to win or lose. The test is to see how he plays with what he's got, rather than how he plays with a dream team around him. This season is as much a test for MJ as it is for BB, as it should be.
