To anyone who has never heard this, don't walk, run to YouTube now and check it out.  It is 7 minutes and 9 seconds of pure greatness.  The song made my top 50 off the strength of that version.

Honestly, the whole "On Air" set is killer.

Agreed.  In addition to Son & Daughter, the BBC versions of Doing All Right and My Fairy King are particularly good.  I consider all of those version upgrades over the ones from the debut album.  It is Queen at their most raw.
