Listening to this album this week reminded me how artificial it sounds.  Electronic percussion up the ying-yang and unconvincing synth patches.  Even the guitars/basses are overprocessed.

The remaining songs are all about on the same level, so I'll go with Brother of Mine.

I’ve been re-listening too and the overly artificial sound is really distracting. Id love to hear these songs with less obnoxious synth sounds. Also I liked Teakbois a lot more than previously.

I don't mind the sound of this record, certainly not state of the art, even back then, but it has a special charme.
