Man, I hope you have a sense of humor when results are posted. I mean, considering what you sent, you must.

 

Of all the things that can be said about me, good or bad, I know my place in the world.  I knew what I sent, and while I DO hope you see it for what it is, I accept the consequences.  .  It really IS one of my favorite album openers of all time, and that's what you asked for. This probably won't be the first time we have this conversation, though (though no matter what I send, I'm NOT mocking you or the roulette; if I send it, it's to fit the category).

Also, these impressions are days old, with easily a half dozen listens since. They may or may not accurately predict the score.

I cannot believe this is actually an opening track. Doesn’t exactly come out and smack you in the face.

I’m on record as not liking this band. Musically, this is pretty intense and quite good. But I just hate this dude’s voice.

Faizoff: Volbeat Really high energy. I was a bit iffy on the vocals at first, but they kind of grew on me as the song went on.

Holy shit! My face is melted.

Let’s bust out the fucking hula hoops, make some TV Dinners, and watch Laugh In.

I had no idea what to expect, and while not perfect, I thought it was cool as shit.

This is exactly what I expected which is to say, it’s mostly excellent.

That was a big meal. I’m not sure how filling it was though.

No fancy passages here. This song just punches you in the face.
