LithoJazzoSphere: Chelsea Wolfe - The Waves Have Come
I can’t remember what song I received before but I think it was something crazier. Also, I don’t remember her having such a “non-offensive” voice. Maybe I’m mixing her up with someone else. Anyway, this song is just ok. I’m not crazy about it but it’s better than I expected There’s a lot going on so maybe that’s why it doesn’t feel as long as it is. It progresses nicely and introduces something new along the way. My favorite part is after it gets a bit heavier with strings and drums.

Elite sent "Carrion Flowers" in your '17 roulette.  That's her more industrial rock-ish side.  She does so many different types of songs there's probably something that would connect more with you.  Her voice definitely stays mostly on the melodic end, but every now and then she'll do something unusual, and she's worked with vocalists in various collaborations with harsher vocals, depending upon what else you might have heard.

Well, I highly doubt that but since Aenima is my favorite of theirs, from what I know about it (and the year it came out), I should like White Pony.

I think you’ll be a bit disappointed with the score I heard of them before, think I even checked something out and similarly to this, everything was fine but I didn’t really get into it and I know what the fuss is about (for now, at least). My favorite part of the song is actually the beginning and “drip drip from the tap don’t slip”. Too bad the intro part doesn’t come back. And this shouldn’t be this long.

I'm not wholly surprised you didn't love this, it seems few people round here seem to fall in love with this band. I agree that the beginning is one of the best parts, and the repeating "drip drip from the tap don’t slip" bit is also awesome.

King Gizzard are well known for having lyrical sections like this, where they just repeat a line (or sometimes just a word. Looking at you Rattlesnake) over and over. It could be called lazy writing but these sections get stuck in your head, and you find yourself repeating them over and over. In my case, so much so my kid loves it when I sing "Drip drip from the tap don’t slip", he finds it hilarious 

The intro does get reprised later in the song dude, but it's sped up compared to the start of the song. Also, I just saw the band live for the first time last week. They closed with The Dripping Tap, and let me tell you, this song is not too long at 18 minutes. If anything, it needs to be longer.

Cool. Check out that whole Sunburst album, it's all quality. No idea what to send next but I'll think of something. Doesn't help that I'm near the top so I don't want to screw this up completely.

Really glad you liked Bend Sinister! Stylistically speaking the rest of the album is a little more straightforward but it's great stuff.

You should probably just check out the album Omnium Gatherum, as it really covers a lot of their styles. It doesn't cover everything but it's a good place to start.
