Although they're a djenty band and on their instrumental albums don't really do a great deal more than that, A Voice Within was a great album and the vocalist added a real warmth and focus. Plus the songwriting was really strong. So you never know!

Seen them twice (3 times come April) and as amazing as they are, I'm always a bit bummed they've never done a song with vocals.

Well, let's just say in my own I definitely have suspicions about who reads my writeups and who doesn't, or at least ignores them.   

I once sent Intervals to Crow (aka Parama back then) who also doesn't like djent and it went down quite well. Although they're a djenty band and on their instrumental albums don't really do a great deal more than that, A Voice Within was a great album and the vocalist added a real warmth and focus. Plus the songwriting was really strong. So you never know!

Like many people in that movement, Aaron pulled back from it gradually over time, and there's great material in all eras, but that song for the round is on the debut and definitely still in the middle of the djent craze.

This is a great song. One of their best. Great storytelling and classic outro by Paul Chapman.

VOLA are definitely djenty, but I can see why you'd like them but not a lot of other djent.

This is a great song. One of their best. Great storytelling and classic outro by Paul Chapman.

Really enjoying the Chapman stuff.  Took some time to grow but I love most of it.  Chapman was a wonderful guitarist, love him!
