A Venture. I've listened to this album a dozen times in more than a decade, and yet I have zero recollection of this song.

A Venture, it's not bad but it pales in comparison to the other songs.
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D

You know, I picked "Clap".  I get why it's there, and I get it's a good piece of music.  But I LIKE "A Venture", and I had to choose between the band piece and the solo piece, and thought I would reward the band piece.

Also The Clap is awesome, it's the one piece of music that is completely different from the rest, so I see why one would vote for it.

Yup.  It is the most obvious of obvious choices (no matter how annoying All Good People might be after 8,000 live plays).

I don’t normally jump in on minor things like this. But I can totally understand why Steve Howe was so annoyed with the misprint on the album. Especially considering that “the clap” was (and still is in some circles) slang for an STD. For that reason alone, I usually try to encourage people to use the proper title, “Clap”.  That is what Steve called the piece.

And that is what I am using in this survivor. A very unfortunate name - he could've called it "Clapping" or "Claps" just to avoid it a bit more, but I guess the record label had other ideas.
