A compilation Devin Townsend put together and released on his label back in 1997 showcasing some bands from the Vancouver metal scene back then. Found a copy on eBay recently. Some great stuff here.

First off, the Ace Frehley fucking blows monkey chunks. Holy shit what a piece of garbage. He is so fucking cringey with his throwback lyrics and shit. And his voice sounds more processed than fucking Cher.

And then there's Blaze. I'm not going to tell you this is his best album, but it is damn nice. It gets much stronger in the second half for me which includes the amazing title track.

Such contrast in these two albums. Blaze performs with such passion and dignity, while Ace sounds like a hokey piece of shit.

I take it you didn't like it all that much

Never was a huge fan of "classic" Kiss to start with, so I've never really checked out any of the Ace solo stuff.

I listened to half of it with a black screen so I'll need to revisit to focus a bit more on it. There was one late song that really hit the spot.
