Nick, the Lord Dying is one of the albums I sampled and Saved on Spotify. I haven't gone back to give it a full listen, but I thought that it sounded really interesting.
The Sgaile sounds nice.

Yeah, I just finished a second listen...there are a few spots here and there where it gets a little too "shouty", but overall the sound is real cool.

This was indeed pretty cool. Tempestarius is such a catchy song. Interesting how the album takes a turn towards a slightly less immediate approach after that. The closer is quite bleak.

Not bad, it has potential and I will likely revisit. Prog metal from Denmark. Instrumentally, a bit more on the "complex" side, vocally not quite your typical prog metal singer...maybe a grittier Mariusz Duda? And the very occasional growly bit. On first listen, the middle one-two of "Star Formation" and "Cut Loose" struck me the most, with very good melodies.


I have it Saved. Not sure how I feel about the vocals, but it has some intriguing bits.

Yep, that’s basically how I feel about it too. Could’ve used some trimming, for sure, but there are some real nice melodies.

I'm sure I'll get to them this week.  I haven't listened to them for a while and wanted to start with the first two, my favorite (Human Contradiction) and the new one.  I'm not a big fan of We Are the Others, despite how popular that album is with fans.

My favorite is actually Apocalypse & Chill, which seems to be the fan consensus/rating aggregation least favorite.  Go figure.

Didn't realise this thing was over an hour long.  Doesn't feel anywhere near that.  Had me doing a couple of extra kms.

Yeah, it’s a good one…the more uptempo songs have always made me think of a more “metallic” version of 80s Rainbow. Reale was so good…and the Out in the Fields cover is great!
