This is simply a fucking cracking album! it gets more enjoyable each time. Funny as I never rated these guys before hand. Ghost Ship when I tried a few weeks back was just solid. I'm listening to As the World Bleeds right now though and this one is sounding really nice.

I am on a little bit of a Subsignal kick more recently. They are such a good band. Their music might not be the kind the blows you away, but they are so classy...great melodies, not particularly heavy but very dynamic and a singer that's just perfect for this stuff. A sweet spot where Sieges Even (obviously), melodic Dream Theater, Fates Warning, a touch of Rush, plus some neo-prog, all converge.

And for a completely different mood, that Inculter record really is fire!

Well, one I talk about above...and the other (Wytch Hazel) is a delicious slab of vaguely retro-sounding hard rock from the UK. You should give it a shot if you are in mood for something a bit more relaxed...

I haven't heard it in at least 20 years. My dad had it on laser disc back in the day and I'd watch it a ton. It held up really well and I really enjoyed the record.

Honestly...much better than expected. It had more heavier moments than expected. I really enjoy latter day Bernie Shaw Era Uriah Heep and this reminded me of it. Even Covenent/Sharks Era UFO.
Some of it was pretty weak, but overall, I was pleasantly surprised.
