One last 2023 release that was too good not to purchase.  Anyone who loved/loves Nuclear Power Trio will love this.

I have no idea who the Nuclear Powe Trio are, but I'm about to load this up.

This album is truly… scary but in an amazing way. It holds so much weight that it feels scary at times. Just raw pure distress emotions mixed with great melodies (at least musically since I don’t have access to the lyrics of all songs). Be careful putting the volume to high, you’ll basically feel like ur becoming insane with emotions haha

Just finished it.  I enjoyed it.  I know you pimped it and Brent mentioned it too and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Click now; thank me later.  A Clear and Present Rager is just an EP; and Wet Ass Plutonium is only 37 minutes long.

Alright, I'll check that later.  That one you linked was some pretty easy listening instrumental.  Nice guitar work.

That's kind of disappointing as I was looking forward on working my way backwards.  I still will though.

Didn't start out as the plan, but it was 1991 at work today.

This is a great batch! Not a fan of Pink Bubbles, personally, but other than that it's fantastic stuff.

You are not wrong here  ;) Pretty "heavy" stuff. I gave this one a listen a few weeks back. I guess one needs to be in the right mood for it, but it is interesting...

Last couple days...

Confirming that Hushed and Grim is, no doubt, my favorite Mastodon post-Crack the Skye. What a wonderful album.

Incidentally - the album to its left (which also happens to have a tree on its cover, although in a much more, um, terrifying shape  ;)) is Ulthar - Providence.

I hit this last night. Not bad. Reminded me of a proggier TSO.

Oh, and I hit the Steel Rhino this morning. It earned a second listen. Reminded me of a rounded off Accept.

Nice albums Nick. I do like Hushed and Grim but it's too bloated to be my favourite post-CTS. It is easily Emperor of Sand for me. I do however think that Gigantium is their best song since CTS.

I've not listened to that Ulthar as I only discovered them this year and have mainly been hitting their current releases. I'll get to this today :tup

I still remember the moment I first listened to Leviathan–bought it on a whim back in the day (because of the amazing cover), and could not believe my ears as I drove around listening to it.

To this day, I get goosebumps every time I listen to "Hearts Alive"

That was exactly what I thought.  Herbie has crafted his sound to be very Udo.
