Second album is the darkest and my favorite IMO ( Less R&B). In all cases their album are all great. They do have screams but I feel like the clean vocals are the stand outs. Also they have very effective melodies for the most part. I recommend you give this album more than one spin because you can’t get the full experience with one.

The latest hasn't really connected with me. Sundowning is my favourite and I've unfortunately liked each subsequent release a little less than the last.

This was released in November



The band's name is Shylmagoghnar (I know...). It actually is one guy (credited with everything, including drums it seems). Intriguing melodic/atmospheric death/black metal. Kinda long, expansive in scope but not particularly complex. What's interesting is that there are many fully instrumental tracks (case in point, the over 10-minute long opener -  which, incidentally, is pretty great)

Watching the Blu-ray of Killing Joke's concert from last year. Never been able to see Big Paul play before. The man is an absolute machine. Unreal that he could still keep up with those rhythms that he played so long ago. Love the hi-hat camera angle. Awesome to see him in action. Jaz sounds like he never aged. His voice has stayed so pristine after all these years. RIP Geordie.

You know, I can totally see that and respect that.  This is quite impressive music really.  It's not my thing at all bar some of what's going on in the heavier tracks and probably something I won't really go back to, but I'm respecting what I'm listening to.  Nice band.
