their magnum opus is definitely Blomljud but i'm sure the new one coming out on Friday is gonna be solid too!

Blomljud is my favorite as well, but I might say Lovers End might be a little more your style and it's a single so might be a better starting place.

Meant it’s a single CD album, as opposed to Blomljud which is a double.

I've been working on a 2023 list.  I wasn't kidding when I was struggling for a decent 10 I was happy with.  Late stumblings like this though certainly may make it easier to fill.  It's hard, even the Theocracy, that's pretty damn good but I just need more time with these albums to see if they have the right to fill out a top 10.

Yeah, I've been on the Suotana since it came out. I've posted it a bunch of times in this thread, even just the other day. It hasn't fallen off at all. It's a Top 5 album for me this year.

I'm actually just going back through the 2023 thread and seeing peoples list and have seen yours.  I actually forgot about the Hellripper.  Could have a top 10 sorted. 

I sampled the Tanith, not my thing but it sounded solid, I can see why a few of you like it.  The Sacred Outcry didn't stick for some reason, I'll try that one again.  Gotta sample the Kalmah and I'll check Celestial Wizard and Hanging Garden too.

This Suotana is really nice.  A lot of old school Children of Bodom vibes mixed with more power metal, folkish elements too.
