The new Sorcerer sounded pretty good on first listen. They are still doing their epic/power doom thing, with fantastic vocals and guitar work. Nothing too new, but the songs are strong.

The other album is "Sickened Seed" by A Flourishing Scourge. Released today, came across it randomly. It wasn't a super-dedicated listen but it certainly piqued my interest...it's proggy stuff, and I heard some Enslaved (there's a blackened influence in there), some Opeth... and even some Steven Wilson in the quieter moments? I'll have to listen again.

Surprisingly decent, expected worse - maybe 5 instrumentals were too much for some people but I don't mind. Got some lovely tunes, and some redundant ones. I'll revisit.

Hmnnn yeah I'm not feeling this one much, second half has some better songs, but most of these are quite mid.

Gustavo Cerati Siempre es Hoy
Probably his most electronic album of his solo work, mixed with some Art Rock and hints of Folklore here and there even. First full listen in like 3 or 4 years I think, had forgotten how good the first couple of tracks are. Buddy, I think you'd enjoy this.
