Absolutely! I LOVE Word of Mouth. Yes, it had some of that early 90s influence, but it was still very much Vicious Rumors. Maybe Thinking of You is the only song that's a bit of a slog, but songs like Against the Grain, the Thunder & Rain mini-suite, Ministry of Fear...so good. And the production is excellent.

It's black metal, but it's melodic, synthy and epic, just how I prefer black metal.

War Curse - "Confession"

Well, I'm quite enjoying this one! Melodic thrash metal from the US. Hearing a lot of Testament (The Ritual album, in particular), and generally the kind "slower" thrash sound of the early 90s (definitely some Black Album vibes too). Nothing here reinvents the wheel, but the songs really work, imo. Very good vocals and the album sounds great. A couple of listens in, Fortress of Agony (is that Chuck Billy singing?!  ;)) and Power of the Powerless stood out right away. It has a cool cover of Grip Inc's Rusty Nail too (great band, btw).
