Sweet, I have the new one on my shitlist, but I'll check that one out as well. Also gonna sample that Restless Spirit album, purely based on the cover.

That Restless Spirit album is very tasty. I can hear some mid-period Corrosion of Conformity in there...lots of great riffs and energy.

That'll go down well if we're talking Wiseblood era. Love that album.

Spinetta Kamikaze
Quite a lovely record, first song is a little weird and dissonant, but the rest of the album feels lot more mellow and easier on the ears. Very lovely album, perfect for late-night listening.

Charly García Piano Bar
A bit less adventurous in terms of songwriting and instrumentation than Clics Modernos, but a also a bit catchier.  Plenty of sax on some of these tracks, it's a fun album.

Soda Stereo Soda Stereo
Hmnnn I can see why this is kinda forgettable in their discography, it does feel like a clone of The Police certainly, and the songwriting is nothing like their later records. Still a nice debut album.

Spent my between roulette rounds Free Listening to these two monster albums. Gave them each two spins at work, and then each a dedicated headphone listen after work.

The Theocracy is my most anticipated album this year and it did not disappoint. It usually take a few listens to dig into their albums to let the hooks take hold, but I'm already loving this. This is music right in my sweet spot with vocals the same.

The Stortregn...holy shit what a beast. The harsh vocals are...harsh. They push it for me, but the payoff musically is well worth it. There are so many amazingly aggressive and beautiful passages here. A truly incredible album.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I've only listened once so far, and I was working at the time, but it left a really good impression (like potential top 10 of the year good). I was going to give it a second spin earlier but I was distracted with other stuff and I decided I want to give it a proper dedicated headphones listen this evening.

OK, looks like I had the same problem Evermind had with this site earlier in the year. It stops playing the music for me after about 30 seconds.

I'm also unsure how to set up my own 'DTF Room'. I'll keep try9ng, see what I can uncover.

Oceansize - Self Preserved While The Bodies Float Up

I've been a fan of their other albums for over a decade at this point, but I never bothered to really check this one out because I kept hearing people saying it's not on the level as their other albums and I... don't agree with that! It's quite good, I might like it a bit better than Everyone Into Position, actually. Wish I had gotten into it sooner.
