I agree with you! Descend into Depravity and Reign Supreme are my personal favorites.

Almendra El valle interior
I don't really know what they were trying to accomplish here, it feels like the same song being repeated for a whole album, and it's not even that good.

Invisible El jardín de los presentes
Can't get enough of this one, it's just so carefully crafted and balanced. Pretty atmospheric and mellow, feels quite ahead of its time. I feel that this is, so far, Spinetta's finest moment - not a single boring song, and the highs are just so high it's ridiculous. No wonder it's my country's highest rated album on RYM.

Charly García Yendo de la cama al living
Cool early 80s pop album, has some hints of his more elaborate previous work, but still nice.

Spinetta A 18' del sol
The album he made right after El jardín de los presentes, this time as a solo effort. Feels kinda similar to that album (good thing), with a very melodic, mostly mellow approach (great thing), but also fused with some strong Jazz-Rock elements (hmnnn...). Very interesting album anyway.

Serú Girán Peperina
Definitely their most pop album, and I feel they got a bit better at that here than in the previous one. The last few songs get a bit more experimental tho, and are quite interesting.

Spinetta Jade Alma de Diamante
Definitely a very Jazz-Rock album, with some Prog and Jazz Fusion elements, at least on the first song. The title track is quite mellow and very lovely.

Can't believe how freaking consistent these 2 guys are, and I'm almost halfway through their massive discography so far. I definitely regret not having paid attention to these national treasures all these years, but I'm making up for that now - this has certainly reinvigorated my love for music.

Charly García Clics Modernos
I feel I need to give this album a bit of time to sink in and, ironically, click with me. Los Dinosaurios is amazing of course, and the rest of the record is wonderfully written for sure, but I'm sure it'll eventually make sense in my head and I'll love it all. Kinda weird that I'm finding it easier to get into his previous projects considering this one is a very straightforward New Wave album.

Ástor Piazzolla Tango: Zero Hour
The more I listen to this one closely, the more I warm up to it and I feel I could end up loving it as well. Many of these songs do feel like a journey, with many different sections and ideas that go back and forth and mutate.

Spinetta Spinettalandia Y Sus Amigos
A bit better than expected - it's his most (and only) hippie album, and it shows. Production is fairly lo-fi and the arrangements are fine, but it's kinda forgettable tbh.

That Restless Spirit album is very tasty. I can hear some mid-period Corrosion of Conformity in there...lots of great riffs and energy.
