Yeah this is quite the slow burner tbh. The first half is just amazing, the second half loses me a bit, but it's still a solid record. One of my favorites of the year.

I wasn't that into it. The two songs you sent me are still the best things I've heard from this guy unfortunately. :lol

Can’t believe this album is nearly 8 years old! Yea, it’s far from their best but it’s a lot of fun and has some great songs.

Primal but excellent! For me it was the first album I heard when it was released not knowing how they would evolve. Mandylion and Nighttime Birds are easily my favorites.

First impression was pretty positive. A little "colder" (even production-wise) than Civilisation, and not all melodies were quite as striking (at least for now). Also not sure I like the new vocalist as much (although he's good)
