Not as evocative as Woe but still pretty good.
I take this back kinda, after listening to it more I actually like this album more than Woe. Woe
does have a more unique and emotional sound to it, as well as the one-two punch of the last two songs which nothing on here quite measures up to, but this one's more consistent and for a 70 minute album it just flies by. The sound is more typical prog metal riffs and keyboards, but I feel like it's not often these days where that sound's actually done
well, so I'll gladly take it when it is!
Here's hoping it's not another six years before their next album.
