As I mentioned in the other thread, this has been a super-tasty discovery...hitting all the right notes, I guess I was really in the mood for something like this

...and then I felt like listening to this one:



Of the synthwave records I know (admittedly, not a ton), this one best captures that nostalgic feeling of 80s music for me. Some of the moods really manage to bring me back to that time. Might not be particularly "adventurous", but it's brilliant. And Endless Summer is a perfect title for it.

Urne - A Feast On Sorrow / progressive sludge with some post elements. Produced by Gojira's Joe Duplantier so that also gives some hints about the sound of this band.

I really liked this on first listen. Anybody who likes band like Gojira, Mastodon should give it a try.
