A couple of records from the 1981 thread:
Plus over the last couple of days:
Finally got around to watching some of the video content on the Seasons End's deluxe edition. Good stuff. And the recent live performance of the album is great too (including The Release!)
The Dymna Lotva album (bottom left) is quite interesting. A duo from Belarus (who have left the country) plus guest musicians, this is black metal with some intriguing moods and atmospheres. Very well produced too. It's not necessarily an easy listen - not the music per se (which is actually plenty melodic), but the vocals can be a bit much at times. They convey the grimness of the theme, I suppose (lyrics are in Belarusian, so I can't claim to understand them anyway
), but I wish they went more with the cleans.
