the first album isn't quite as good IMO but skeletons of light is probably the best song between the two, love that one so much
Skeletons of Light is the song I wanted to send, but it's quite a bit too long.

I peed next to Ian Mosley and Mark Kelly
Derek Sherinian probably stands 10 feet away from the urinal, shoots from downtown, and announces loudly that he's making history.

Ah....I see Lonestar was sent Slaves from this album and he's just discovered it.  He's in for a wild few months with this piece of art.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

A bunch of different things for a variety of moods today...

That Shadecrown album I know was recommended by a couple of DTFers at various points. It's sneakily good. Every time I revisit it, I really enjoy it. They don't reinvent the wheel, but they do nail that heavy melancholic sound.

Whatever happened to them??

Done, sadly. After the 2 song ep, Isolated Chapters they faded away. I think they are/were the best melodic prog metal band next to DT. Saw them twice, absolutely amazing!

They are technically still an active band. There's been no official split up or anything. I think they are all just busy with separate projects.

I still give a shit about them. Their last album was their weakest but I still liked it a lot and would definitely love a new album.

Ah come on Kade!, great band, cool dudes too. I know you're still playing new Pizza Death a lot and nothing compares to that but CM are great as well.

Nah, all good, was just in a crabby mood this morning.  I guess my tastes have just significantly changed since I was into them.  Just sounds so poppy and light to me these days.

I never really got into the first two as much as others did but I loved Nine.  That one was a great blend of prog, melodic rock and a little metal.  Havoc also I thought wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.  Definitely wasn't up to Nine, but was pretty enjoyable.  I never checked the EP though.  Didn't even know about it.

Actually, I'm kinda shocked that Nine is 11 years old!!
